Foundation and Development
AmeriVeri CR, LLC was co-founded in January of 2010 by Jim Baughman and Patti Merdian. After the company had been founded, several years of research and development were turned over to a carefully selected team of software engineers, programmers and medical coding specialists.
While the company itself is less than two years old, the AmeriVeri CR team has been working together for many years and brings a high level of coding expertise to the table. The result of this collaboration is the highly advanced AmeriVeri CR claims processing system that focuses solely on identifying medical code errors.
Entering the Marketplace
As final beta testing was completed and the first half of 2010 drew to a close it was time to begin offering AmeriVeri CR services on the open market. June 2010 marked the official launch of a marketing campaign that targeted specific organizations involved in the claims processing industry.
By October of the same year, a “Healthcare Savings Milestone” had been reached: AmeriVeri CR had developed the ability to process nearly 1 million claim lines in less than 30 minutes.
By 2011, AmeriVeri CR was providing savings to its clients on a regular basis and began to refine the company image with the re-launch of AmeriVeri.com.
