Professional Experience

JBA, Inc, 1968-76. Founder and President. Beginning with the Southeast and a single manufacturer, JBA grew into a nationwide organization with offices in Miami, Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, representing 12 manufacturers, with sales in excess of $50,000,000 per year. The JBA lines and offices were turned over to associates with the success of Shirtdress, Ltd.

Shirtdress, Ltd, 1972-1986. Founder and President. From an idea for offering exclusive designs to major print retailers, Shirtdress became the largest up-market private label apparel manufacturing company in the US. At its sale in 1986 over 1200 employees created classic apparel for 36 clients including Neiman-Marcus, Talbot’s, Carol Reed, and the AMC/Federated companies, from manufacturing facilities in South Florida, Mexico City, and Leeds, England.

MCT, Inc, 1988-Present. Founder and President. Based in Jackson Hole, WY, MCT was established to advise corporations on the best use of sponsorship/marketing dollars and to create measurable returns, initially focused on motorsports. Areas of expertise include creation and management of sponsorships, media/communications, merchandising and licensing, special events, PR, internal team building, and hospitality.

MCT has created many of the most significant and successful programs of the past 22 years, with corporate funding in excess of $1 Billion beginning with Total Petroleum in 1989. 82 clients have included Pillsbury, Shell Oil (receiving their “Vendor of the Year” Award), Pepsi, Kendall Oil, Champion Spark Plugs, DuPont, Ford Credit, Rockwell, Caterpillar, Royal Appliance, DitchWitch, and DPSU (then the Dr Pepper/Seven Up division of Schweppes).

Thunder MTN, Inc, 1995-2002. Founder and President. The lessons learned from owning a premium natural spring water company are: 1. Coca Cola, Pepsi, and Nestle are tough competitors when they enter a category; and 2. when a major international corporation offers $10 million to buy your water company, sell.

GloriaFlora, Inc, 2000-Present. Founder and President. Based in Jackson Hole, WY, GF is a wholesale marketer of up-scale pre-made bouquets to exclusive retailers nationwide, and ships via Priority One FedEx daily from facilities in California. GF is successfully managed by Jennifer Baughman, EVP.

Based in Indianapolis, IN, the AmeriVeri CR team of Hosting, Middleware, Software Engineering, Programming, Database, and Coding specialists has created the most in-depth, fully automated method for verifying the coding accuracy of health care claims in the United States.

From a Cloud Hosted fully SAS70 Type II certified environment, using proprietary mapping applications for incoming data, AmeriVeri CR is capable of verifying the coding accuracy of every Group Health, Workers’ Comp, and Medicaid claim in the US, every day. Nationwide markets are reached through an impressively accomplished group of Business Development Directors.
